Big Jib Draw 2025

What a weekend! St. John’s showed up with unbeatable hospitality, big laughs, and even bigger draws. We had an absolute blast curling, connecting, and cheering each other on. So many friendships forged on and off the ice 💖

🏆 Huge congrats to the B Division champs Team McAlear and the C Division winners Steal Magnolias! 👏

Shoutout to Sweeping Around, 50 Sheets of Gay, and Miss Xandie and the Pit Crew for some good curling and even better vibes.

Thanks to everyone who made this bonspiel so special. We’re already dreaming of next year!

Call for Over the Rainbow Bonspiel Coordinators

The bonspiel committee is looking for a few more league members to help with the upcoming Over the Rainbow Bonspiel in January. We need league members to fill the following coordinator roles:

  • Website/Social Media Coordinator: Help keep everyone updated online.
  • 50/50 Coordinator: Manage the 50/50 and Joker’s Wild draws.
  • Raffle Coordinator: Organize the popular raffle table.
  • Photography Coordinator: Capture the fun and excitement of the event.

As a coordinator, you’ll work directly with a committee member to handle one specific part of the event’s planning and preparations this fall. This means you won’t have to attend committee meetings or be responsible for more than your part.If you are a league member and are interested in volunteering, contact bonspiel co-chairs Sean Addis or Russ Francis by emailing [email protected], or by reaching out to them on Facebook or in person.
