Riverdale’s Do It On The Ice Bonspiel

Out of Town Registration begins at 4pm EST on December 11.

A minimum of 3 players on the team must not be members of a Toronto-based league. Up to 12 team spots will be available for early Out of Town Registration. Once those 12 spots are filled, Out of Town teams may register in General Registration. A public waiting list will be maintained for Out of Town teams in case of any dropouts.

General Registration begins at 4pm EST on Saturday December 13.

General Registration teams may contain any combination players from inside or outside Toronto. The recreational bonspiel has a maximum of 48 teams, and a public waiting list will be maintained for all teams in case of any dropouts.

  • Lower Division Registration: Opens 2 hours before Upper Division
  • Early Access: Out-of-town teams may request codes starting December 29 at noon MST
  • Maximum Teams: 48, with potential expansion to 56
  • Cost: $500 per 4-person team / $535 per 5-person team
  • New for 2026: Two Round-Robin Divisions – Upper & Lower
  • Lower Division Interest: Teams intending to register for Lower should email us before December 20 (non-binding)
  • Opening Draw: Thursday evening around 7:00 PM
  • Finals & Prize Ceremony: Saturday evening, shortly after finals (approximately 7:00 PM)
  • Western Cup Dance: Saturday evening after 9:00 PM

New for 2026: Teams will self-select into Upper or Lower for round robin play. All teams still advance into a single unified playoff structure. Upper games award full points. Lower games award half points, ensuring Lower teams are seeded into the lower playoff brackets – without enduring round-robin blowouts.

Teams interested in the Lower Division are asked to email us before December 20 to indicate intent. This is not a commitment, and it simply helps us estimate demand. See the full details linked below for more information.
