Capital Pride Parade returns to Bank Street roots

For the first time in almost a decade, this month’s Capital Pride Parade will march along Bank Street, which was designated by City Hall as Ottawa’s LGBT village in 2011.
As one of the largest festivals in Ottawa with over 30,000 spectators, this year’s Pride is predicted to be even bigger, and the theme, ‘be loud. be proud’ echoes that ambitious goal.
Please come out and walk with the Rainbow Rockers and show Ottawa that we are the largest LGBT sporting group in the city.
Parade starts at 1 PM Sunday, August 25th at the corner of Bank & Gladstone Streets. We’ll be gathering at 12:30 PM.
