Trivia Night / Nationals Playdowns

Nationals Playdowns
This season’s CGCC will be held in Edmonton, Alberta from April 3-6, 2014 alongside the Icebreaker Bonspiel.  Edmonton was the first city to host the CGCC and 2014 marks the ninth year of this successful event.
The playdown to determine the two teams to represent Ottawa and the Rainbow Rockers has been tentatively scheduled for Sunday, December 22 alongside our annual holiday curling and banquet.
Skips wishing to enter a team in the playdowns must submit an e-mail to [email protected] confirming their intentions by Saturday, November 30 at 8:00 PM.
Your submission must include the names of all four team members.  Note that at least two players must be registered, full time members of the Rainbow Rockers Curling League. The other players must be registered spares and have spared in at least one league game by March 30, 2014.  Spares may be used for playdowns subject to the above conditions.
As the playdown date is very close to Christmas, please indicate if your team has a conflict.  Should conflicts arise, alternative date(s) may be scheduled; however the event may have to be contested over multiple days.  Should only one or two eligible teams register, playdowns will not be required and these teams will be selected to represent Ottawa.

To make sure we have space for everyone, please RSVP to [email protected] by Thursday, November 28.
Lost and Found
