Hot Shots Curling Camp

the HOT SHOTS Curling Camp to be held at the RA Curling Club, in Ottawa, October 2-4, 2009. While summer seems to be just hitting its stride, it won’t be long before we will be on the ice.
We are looking forward to being hosted by the RA Centre, and the members of the RA Curling Club, who have been working behind the scenes for many months to stage a great camp in Ottawa. We hope to make Ottawa our second home if there if enough annual interest in hosting a camp in the Nations Capital.
Currently, we are more than half sold out. If you have friends and/or teammates that are interested in attending the camp, please have them register online at www.hotshotscurling.com as soon as possible or contact David Gravelle or Kathryn O’Connor at our office – 705.549.8975.
In the coming weeks, you will have to start searching for your curling equipment to bring to camp. Here is what you will need:
– Curling shoes
– Broom
– Stabilizer (if you currently use one – demo Stabilizers will be available for the clinics and for sale)
– Stopwatch (if you don’t have one – we have extras)
– Your typical curling pants/kilts, sweater, and gloves (a HOT SHOTS curling jacket will be provided to you when you arrive.)
Other items you may want to bring are:
– A camera
– Any medication you may be taking
A couple of housekeeping items
If you have not completed our on-line camper questionnaire at hotshotscurling.com (or informed us of your curling jacket size) we invite you do so as soon as possible so that we are able to finalize our camper groupings.
Also, if you have not forwarded your payment to us, please take care of your outstanding account as soon as possible. We do expect to sell out, and don’t want to disappoint anyone.
We hope you are as excited as we are to start the curling season. We look forward to seeing you on the ice! In the meantime, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact David or Kathryn at 705-549-8975 or by email at [email protected].
Sincerely,
David Gravelle
